Want to Join the Utah Dahlia Society?

We are so happy that you are interested in joining the Utah Dahlia Society! We meet a few times during the year including our tuber sale in April and our dahlia show in September. Other times we learn about growing, propagation, and storing tubers, etc.  Dues in the Utah Dahlia society are $20/25 per individual/couple annually.  In addition, you may also want to consider joining the American Dahlia Society for which you will receive 3-4 magazines on dahlia gardening as well as a classification booklet.  It also supports research.  ADS dues are $30/$35 individual/couple annually. Payments are due by April 1.  Please feel free to call me with any further questions.  You may send me payment through Venmo or by check.

Awards Potluck Dinner

The awards from our 2022 show were presented at our Potluck on January 18, 2023 at the Sugarhouse Garden Center.  Jan Litster conducted the meeting and presented the awards.  Winners received a beautiful certificate and the gift of not having to pay UDS club dues for the upcoming year.  Their membership will be good until May of 2024.  In addition to that prize the 2022 “Best of Show” winner Karen Crook received the traveling trophy with her name added to the list of former winners.  Congratulations again to Karen and all those whose blooms made it to the head table.

The evening was a success: delicious food and great company.  The perfect start to 2023.
